Roberta Bierman is a passionate instructor, choreographer and performer based in Vancouver, Canada. Since a young age, Roberta grew up in a studio training multiple genres of dance including Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Modern but once introduced to Street Dance, it quickly stole her heart. Roberta shifted her focus to pursue training in Hip Hop while learning other Street styles such as Popping, Locking and most recently, Memphis Jookin. With a non-stop growing passion for the culture, Roberta is forever a student and continues to train locally and internationally. 

Roberta has become one of the most sought after choreographers and teachers in Western Canada. Her crews and choreography are continuously recognized at competitions and festivals on both local and international levels. Roberta is known for teaching memorable classes filled with high energy and education that goes beyond just ‘the steps’. With a strong passion for teaching and building dancers, she has had the opportunity to travel and teach around the world. Aside from teaching, Roberta strives to find ways to give back and create opportunities for her students and local dance community.

Roberta is a member and choreographer for the elite, all female dance crew, Diamonds in the Rough and Director of RUFFNECKS crew. She also directs her new training program Ruff Ryderz out of A3 District.

From 2011 - 2021 she was the director and choreographer for the reputable Canadian mega crew, TwoFourSeven Company who are the Body Rock 2017 1st Place Champions, World of Dance 2018 Los Angeles 1st Place Champions, Release 2019 Champions; and the list goes on.

Roberta is currently the head choreographer for Team Canada Hip Hop, an organization offering elite dancers in Canada the opportunity to travel to Europe and compete in a World Championship. 

Roberta is the Co-Founder A3 District Studio, as well as Co-Producer for Summer Knock-Out Street Dance Competition and Elements Dance Competition.
