Nii “prince” Engmann

Advanced Choreography Thursdays 9:00pm

Nii "Prince" Engmann is an international choreographer, teacher and dancer from Vancouver, Canada. Born in Toronto, his African heritage as well as his training in classical, jazz and popular music laid a solid foundation for him to build his dance training upon.

Post graduating and while pursuing a nursing degree, he started training under Studio 604 and Harbour Dance Centre where he found a deep love for hip hop dance. Prince has taught in Australia, US, Japan and all over Canada. He has worked under choreographers such as Luther Brown, Jamal Sims, Mandy Moore, Jillian Myers, Chris Scott and many more. He has received numerous awards for his choreography, including Monster’s of Hip-Hop’s Grand Choreography Award and Artists Emerge Choreography of the Year Award.

He is excited to be working with A3 as a faculty member and drop-in instructor.
