Jane Marlinga is a well-versed multi-disciplined dancer & choreographer from Victoria, BC. Her extensive studies and exam work in Ballet (R.A.D.), Jazz, Tap (I.S.T.D.), Modern, Musical Theatre and Hip Hop has allowed her to work professionally in the industry as well as local dance communities across North America.
Her credits include: Coca-Cola, 2010 Closing Ceremonies for the Vancouver Winter Olympics, CFL: Grey Cup, XBOX: Just Dance, Alberta Ballet, Royal Winnipeg Ballet, GMA Television, City TV, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, K-OS, Swollen Members & SonReal. Jane has received many accolades throughout her career, notably dancing with Diamonds In The Rough, the 1st Western Canadian team chosen for “Carnival: Choreographers Ball” (Los Angeles) & Ladies of Hip Hop Festival at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre (New York). She holds a National USA Title dancing with Academy of Swag placing 1st at Hip Hop Internationals (Las Vegas). Her award winning choreography has given her the opportunity to co-choreograph for the esteemed UC Bearcats Dance Team (Cincinnati) who hold 6 National Titles & 7 World Titles.
Jane has also taken her career on a more corporate path as of recent. Responsibilities of producing and managing events such as World Of Dance (Global) and Dancer’s Paradise (Mexico) has allowed her to expand her creativity from a backstage perspective. Lastly, Jane is the co-founder and owner of SKO – Summer Knock-Out, Elements Dance Competition and a dance studio/lifestyle brand A3 District.
